Blarney Castle 2

We climbed the tower of Blarney Castle to kiss the famous stone. Pat and Marie were successful at their attempts. And Gladys, Bernita, and Phyllis also successfully gained eloquence (blarney). I climbed all the way up as did Fred, but the back didn't bend enough! We were told that if you kiss the stone and have alot of blarney, you may lose it. So Fred and I were able to keep our original blarney.
The trip up the turrets steps was open and wet and narrow and curvy. It was quite a climb up, but also abit scary on the way down. The view from the top of the castle was breathtaking!
