Dublin City Tour

We took a city tour this fine morning. Ireland was first established by the Vikings. In Dublin they sailed into the River Liffey. The Anglo-Normans settled in the 12th century and pretty much took it over. Ireland was part of England until 1922 when they became a free state. The Irish started their uprising in 1916.
The biggest famine (potato blight) in Ireland was in the 1840's when Ireland lost 1/4 of their population.
The pictures are a few shots of downtown Dublin.
